About

Elum Energy is a fast-growing company based in Paris with offices in Morocco, South Africa, UAE, India, Singapore, Mexico & Brazil specialized in monitoring & control solutions for solar power plants. Elum technology allows for simple and optimized operations of rooftop solar plants or utility scale ground PV plants coupled or not with energy storage systems (batteries) and in some cases with existing thermal generation units (diesel generators).

Our reference customers are constructors (EPCs) and operators (IPPs) of solar power plants and/or energy producers such as TOTAL, ENGIE, GreenYellow, SolarCentury...

Our technology currently equips more than 1000 solar power plants in more than 40 countries, from 100kWp to 100MWp.

Those plants directly power factories & shopping centers for example, are built to feed into the national grid (Europe), or are built to power remote / islanded cities (Caribbean, South Asia or in some African countries).

Our technology, ePowerControl allows to supervise and automatically control these solar hybrid power plants in an efficient way, and its declination in different by-products allows to manage both "simple" type hybrid power plants in self-consumption and more complex power plants of several MWp in grid injection.

Job Description

In charge of product strategy and execution on the “Utility” side, you will perform the following tasks:

Strategy

* Contribute to building the product roadmap in line with Elum's global strategy.

* Ensure that our products and solutions are optimal by using user feedback, cutting-edge solution studies and competitor analysis.

* Manage internal communication to clarify the purpose of utility products and provide visibility on the product roadmap.
Execution

* Write functional specifications and collaborate with the development team to create new functionalities.

* Prioritize product backlog and manage development sprints

* Ensure that the product backlog is transparent and understood
Change management

* Organize training for internal users

* Develop an expert understanding of our products to act as level 2 support when needed

* Write and maintain internal user documentation for new features

Preferred Experience

Engineering degree or equivalent with a specialization in Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Control Systems or Computer Engineering.
3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the energy domain
In-depth knowledge of Agile principles and practices. CSPO would be appreciated.

Languages

Fluency in French
Full professional proficiency in English

Preferred Skills

Expérience professionnelle:

* Diplôme d'ingénieur ou équivalent avec une spécialisation en génie électrique, ingénierie des systèmes, systèmes de contrôle ou génie informatique.

* 3+ années d'expérience dans un rôle similaire, idéalement dans le domaine de l'énergie

* Connaissance approfondie des principes et pratiques Agile. CSPO serait apprécié.
