Elum Energy is a fast-growing company based in Paris with offices in Morocco, South Africa, UAE, India, Singapore, Mexico & Brazil specialized in monitoring & control solutions for solar power plants. Elum technology allows for simple and optimized operations of rooftop solar plants or utility scale ground PV plants coupled or not with energy storage systems (batteries) and in some cases with existing thermal generation units (diesel generators).

Our reference customers are constructors (EPCs) and operators (IPPs) of solar power plants and/or energy producers such as TOTAL, ENGIE, GreenYellow, SolarCentury...

Our technology currently equips more than 1000 solar power plants in more than 40 countries, from 100kWp to 100MWp.

Those plants directly power factories & shopping centers for example, are built to feed into the national grid (Europe), or are built to power remote / islanded cities (Caribbean, South Asia or in some African countries).

Our technology, ePowerControl allows to supervise and automatically control these solar hybrid power plants in an efficient way, and its declination in different by-products allows to manage both "simple" type hybrid power plants in self-consumption and more complex power plants of several MWp in grid injection.

We’re looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) expansion across Africa. This is not a maintenance role this is a build, grow, and own your region opportunity.

🚀 Your Mission

Drive Elum’s growth across Africa by combining direct sales, partnerships, distribution strategy, and market intelligence. You’ll own your territory, turning opportunities into long-term revenue streams.

What You’ll Be Doing

1️⃣ Direct Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and qualify new C&I opportunities across your region

  • Understand customer positioning, technical environments, and project pipelines

  • Analyze project needs and craft tailored technical-commercial proposals

  • Lead negotiations and close strategic deals

🤝 Partnership Management

  • Build strong partnerships with manufacturers and system integrators with local presence

  • Structure turnkey storage solutions for end customers and EPCs

  • Train and support partners on Elum’s solutions

  • Develop long-term strategic relationships that generate recurring business

📦 Distribution Strategy & Management

  • Define and implement the distribution strategy for your region

  • Build internal alignment around your commercial roadmap

  • Identify, onboard, and negotiate with distributors

  • Train distributor sales teams and support them in closing deals

  • Drive visibility and revenue growth through active channel management

📊 Reporting & Operational Coordination

  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting in ERP

  • Prepare presentations and sales reports for internal committees

  • Act as the interface between customers and logistics (incoterms, labeling, availability, payments)

  • Ensure smooth execution from deal closing to delivery

📈 Market Intelligence

  • Analyze market trends, customer expectations, and emerging opportunities

  • Identify key trade shows, events, and webinars where Elum should be present

  • Stay ahead of competitors and evolving market dynamics

🎤 Brand Representation

  • Represent Elum at industry events and across key markets

  • Position Elum as a trusted and innovative energy partner

Profil recherché

🎓 What You Bring

  • Master’s in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Business

  • Proven success in international B2B sales

  • Track record in solar / renewable energy deals

  • Strong knowledge of the African market

  • Fluent in French & English

  • Comfortable with digital tools & ERP
