Elum Energy is a fast-growing company based in Paris with offices in Morocco, South Africa, UAE, India, Singapore, Mexico & Brazil specialized in monitoring & control solutions for solar power plants. Elum technology allows for simple and optimized operations of rooftop solar plants or utility scale ground PV plants coupled or not with energy storage systems (batteries) and in some cases with existing thermal generation units (diesel generators).

Our reference customers are constructors (EPCs) and operators (IPPs) of solar power plants and/or energy producers such as TOTAL, ENGIE, GreenYellow, SolarCentury...

Our technology currently equips more than 1000 solar power plants in more than 40 countries, from 100kWp to 100MWp.

Those plants directly power factories & shopping centers for example, are built to feed into the national grid (Europe), or are built to power remote / islanded cities (Caribbean, South Asia or in some African countries).

Our technology, ePowerControl allows to supervise and automatically control these solar hybrid power plants in an efficient way, and its declination in different by-products allows to manage both "simple" type hybrid power plants in self-consumption and more complex power plants of several MWp in grid injection.

Job Description

As Sales Manager in Italy you mission will be to :

  • Develop and manage sales on targeted market (utility, C&I…)

  • Manage  sales from lead to cash: develop leads pipe, qualify opportunities, close sales, negotiate contracts terms, follow project delivery and insure cash collection  

  • Establish business plan, build and follow sales and revenues forecast on a weekly base, build action plan to reach sales & revenue target

  • Develop CRM Plan:  identify customer organization, identify key customer, decision chain and process, define action plan based on targets and CRM knowledge

  • Develop CRM with customer, partners and eco-system to support company brand recognition and growth

  • Follow customer satisfaction during all sales process

  • Coordinate internal team (marketing, pre-sales, project manager, technical manager, logistic team, purchasing team…),  to guarantee customer projects success. 

  • Represent Elum in Italy and during marketing events such as exhibition, webinar, workshop, or events linked to eco-system

Preferred Experience

  • Engineer, Master or equivalent

  • Native italian speaker, Fluent english both for speaking and writing 

  • At least 5 years of experience in renewable energy market (PV, BESS, Control, SCADA, PPC) as sales in Italy

  • Deep knowledge about Renewable Energy market and eco-system (PV I&C installation, utiliy project with PV and BESS, DSO, TSO, monitoring , and control, IRVE)

  • Autonomous for building enhance business development : methodology for hunting, getting leads, qualifying opportunities

  • Familiar with CRM tools such as Hubspot

  • Ability to build Business plan and report accurate forecasts

  • Ability to work in team such as procurement, pre-sales, logistic,delivery team including project manager and technical managers
